Christine has over 20 years of interior design experience with an Interior Design Degree from Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, NYC. 

Christine’s heartfelt philosophy centers around making the client’s home a safe and warm haven for them to surrender to every day. At the end of the day, Christine wants her client to feel that the home is theirs and their taste, not Christine’s. “I believe the first function of decoration is to make itself invisible, reflecting the taste and above all, the lifestyle of the client.”

She gives expert guidance, advice and support while consistently maintaining the client’s own individual taste.  Christine understands and respects clients’ budgets, however large or small they may be.

When planning a project, Christine keeps her eye on those products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable.  “I strive for integrity and personal commitment at all times.”

June 2021. Christine Wetzel Design was recognized with the prestigious Westchester Magazine, 2021 Home Design Award for Best Use of Color, for her creative use of multi pastel tones and dark wood hues in an extensive kitchen renovation in an English Tudor home in Pleasantville, NY.
